The Emergency & Trauma Care Department at Seva Bharathi Charitable Hospital operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, providing immediate stabilization and life-saving care. Staffed by trained emergency physicians and critical care nurses, our unit responds rapidly to cardiac arrests, respiratory failures, road accidents, poisoning, and acute trauma cases.
Our facility features an emergency resuscitation bay, dedicated triage cots, a fully-equipped 6-bed Intensive Care Unit (ICU) with ventilator support, and a cardiac monitor network. We maintain a dedicated critical response ambulance to fetch emergency patients quickly and safely.

What occurs if the patient requires tertiary care (e.g. neurosurgery)?
Our trauma team will immediately stabilize the patient's vitals. If advanced neurosurgery or multi-specialty intervention is required beyond our scope, we coordinate a swift transfer in our ICU-equipped ambulance to a government or tertiary care hospital, ensuring zero delays in transit.
